First, this design started as a sketch for our Art History Flag project. This design represents me because it is a self-portrait and it has all my core memories and my core values are represented. I intentionally didn’t use straight lines because I didn’t want it to be perfect because I think no one is perfect. The heart with crown shows that I am the queen. Interestingly, I was born with a heart condition. I hope when people see the design they are able to step into my shoes and feel happy.
