I designed this t-shirt to show natural beauty. The woman in the center has natural hair like mine. By showing other people natural beauty it makes other people feel confident and comfortable in who they are and not just hiding it. The colors purple and gold are used to symbolize royalty and they are also bold. The flowers are cherry blossoms, I was influenced by Japanese culture. I selected the words “love” and “peace” because it’s better to love than to hate. Life is just better that way. I really enjoyed this project. It made me able to express myself and be really creative.
